Freudenberg Gala India hosts a group of under-privileged women in Mumbai to enter “India Book of Records” by making 35 feet long broom in a record time of 2 hours

Mumbai, 5 March 2018: In an effort to create awareness on the ongoing sanitation issues in the country, Freudenberg Gala Household Product Pvt. Ltd.  along with “Will India Change Foundation” setup the campaign where 10 under-privileged women from Mumbai were trained to make a broom. The team leader Suhasini Sakir along with nine others, showcased their talent by making 35 feet long broom which has entered into the India Book of Record officials as a national record. It took the women about 2 hours to put the broom together.
Since the event was organized at a mall, the broom on display became a topic of much excitement and a selfie point for visitors.
