We expect Finance Minister to announce special measures for Indian Start-Ups ecosystem in his upcoming Budget speech

Mr. Vishwas Shringi, Founder & CEO of Voylla.com opines after attending the Start-Up India Summit and Action Plan unveiled by Hon’ble PM Narendra Modi, “The biggest take away from the speech that PM Modi presented was that ‘Be a creator and not a job seeker’. His vision of eradicating unemployment from India could be fulfilled from Indian Start-Ups Ecosystem. Even if there are a number of small entrepreneurs and each of them creates just 5 jobs, we will not have any unemployment problem; given such a large Indian population which is below 35 years age.”

“The Start-Up India event marks a day in Indian history and definitely a big motivating factor for budding entrepreneurs. The policy will ease the process of company registration and at the same time, ease of folding the company in case; if they fail. Failure should not be a deterrent in starting again, and this opens door for entrepreneurs who dream but not able to start, realizing their dream with fear of failures.”

“There will be lot of startup fests and mentoring sessions for new entrepreneur. We have a lot of smart people who do not understand corporate governance, and these mentoring sessions will definitely help new entrepreneurs. With special focus on IP protection and patented, India will see a lot of new patents now with the advent of these Govt. aids.”

“Being on the optimistic side, we look forward to Govt. policies and tax exemptions. We are still hopeful that Finance Minister Arun Jaitley will bring a clearer picture in his next Budget speech for betterment of Start-Ups India ecosystem. There are still undefined things in Indian e-commerce system with regards to definition of Start-Ups.”

“We seek special attention from the Govt. for players like us, who has been supporting the Govt.’s flagship initiative ‘Make in India’. We have opened up new avenues of employment for labours engaged in jewellery designing; supported by Indian R&D Team. We are also working with Skill Development Department and would like some flexibility to allow start-ups to get support from Govt. to allot budget to train and retain employed people for skilled craftsmanship.” he added.
