1st July, 2015, New Delhi: Fortis Flt. Lt. Rajan Dhall Hospital celebrated the arrival of its 100thbaby. As a special token, the delighted parents and the new born were driven back home, following discharge, in a luxury sedan, in total comfort and style.
The newly launched Woman & Child department is equipped with the latest technology and has a comprehensive team of Consultants in Obstetrics & Gynecology, Pediatrics and Intensive medicine. The department offers integrated childbirth and complete medical care for the new born child provided by a team of nationally-recognized & trained Neonatologists, Child specialists and nurses. The department is also fully equipped with six operation theatres Neonatal ICU, LDR suites, facilities for tertiary neonatal care and cord blood banking.
As a part of the launch, the hospital inaugurated its Mamma Mia center, which offers a comprehensive range of services to expectant mothers. The center offers services and facilities as part of the delivery package bringing in value added packages covering the ante-natal and post-natal phases of expecting mothers. Mamma Mia is equipped with specialists who can effectively counsel mothers to be and new mothers on the kind of exercise regimen they should follow to maintain fitness throughout their pregnancies. It has a team of aerobics specialists who can make them feel comfortable in the advanced stages of their pregnancies while sitting, standing or going about their daily routines. A team of empathetic psychiatrists is also available at hand to help deal with pre-natal and post-natal emotional issues as they adapt to motherhood along with lactation specialists who will counsel on feeding positions for mothers and more.
