Mumbai, January, 2014 – Part "Alice in Wonderland," and part understated L.A. glam, Day 2 of India Kids Fashion Week made an unforgettable style statement.
The event featured an incredible runway show with a variety of looks. Mini models took to the stage backed by old school tracks for a playful and fun atmosphere. The shows captured the whimsical and lighthearted elements of youth.
POGO and Cartoon Network continued to support India Kids Fashion Week on the second day where the audience witnessed several famous cartoon characters come to life and walk the runway for the first time.
After an exciting first day, India Kids Fashion week’s final day was much more promising and happening. Cheer spread from the ramp to the front row, with big bright smiles and fierce walks by the toddlers who were accompanied by celebrities on the runway. It was indeed a wonderful platform for the designers to showcase their love for kids and passion for designing cute outfits. The crowd was filled with a mix of renowned designers, supportive celebrities and cheerful little children. The Event did not just see designers showcase their kids' creations, but brands too displayed apparels, shoes, toys, accessories and more.
The day commenced with renowned celebrity Fashion Stylist & Designer Manasi Kapadia along with the brand “Sheetal showcasing beautiful ensembles to pick this Kids season. The bubbly kids confidently walked the ramp showing no signs of stage fear. The children were accompanied by Indian Idol singers Purvi and Sughanda as well as supermodel Kabir.
Promising to create a style statement amongst kidswear, Daughter's Dream World by Kanchan Bawa showcased a blend of Indian, western and indo-western party wear range for our little princesses. Adding to the desi tadka, POGO’s Chutki (from Chhota Bheem series) walked with the little princesses. Television actress Shraddha Arya and television actor and model Nandish Sandhu accompanied Kanchan Bawa’s showstopper-her daughter Lavanya on the runway.
There were eye-catching designs in a plethora of colors, with lovely prints and amazing kid’s accessories by “Beebay”. This is a pocket friendly brand whose style statement is always about Fun, Frolic & Elegance. Sumit Dasgupta, the self-made talented fashion designer showcased a collection inspired by Maa Durga.

OKS Boys attracted positive attention through eclectic beach-wear, rockstar and casualwear; two out of the three not explored otherwise in the kids wear range. The highlight of OKS Boys when uber cool, alien superhero Ben 10 from Cartoon Network walked the ramp with renowned singer Armaan Malik.

The star attraction of the Second Edition of India Kids Fashion Week was rightly saved for the Grand Finale. Using innovative LED depiction of World’s Fashion Capital- Paris; renowned designer Nishka Lulla showcased travel collection for children on the runway. A blend of comfort and chic, the little ladies looked like Parisian fashionistas strutting across the ramp.

Nishka’s runway collection was opened by model and actress Sarah Jane Dias and closed by hearthrob Neil Nitin Mukesh. Her front row was a star-studded affair which included celebrities Nimrit Kaur who shot to fame with her movie The Lunchbox, Prachi Desai, Vishakha Singh, Sonal Chauhan and Amrita Rao.
Many celebrities were present to cheer up the Designers and their collection, these included Day-2 ended successfully on a mix note of innocence and fashion giving a strong feeling of the grandeur and splendor that is expected on the final day of India Kids Fashion Week 2014.
