Lux puts SRK fan on Chennai Express
Lux Chennai Express contest winner gets to enact the legendary train scene from the movie with King Khan himself

Iconic
brand LUX, today hosted a dramatic evening to celebrate the
record-breaking success of its LUX Chennai Express Contest at a suburban
hotel in Mumbai.
The brand, along with superstar Shah Rukh Khan, fulfilled a lucky
consumer’s Bollywood dream into reality at the event.
The
20 shortlisted participants of the LUX Chennai Express contest were
invited to the venue, and, Zarina Parveen from Mumbai was chosen as the
ultimate winner through an
on-the-spot lucky draw. Zarina got an opportunity to enact the
legendary train scene with none other than King Khan himself from his
blockbuster movie Chennai Express.
The
LUX Chennai Express Contest was a one-of-its kind campaign where LUX
presented consumers with a chance to go on “a romantic train ride with
SRK”. All they had to do
was to give a missed call on the listed LUX number. The contest
received a phenomenal response, garnering over 50 lakh calls from across
the country, making it an astounding success.
At
the event, Shah Rukh was in his true element and floored the cheering
crowd with his wit and charm. He interacted with his fans and members of
the media and broke into
an impromptu jig as the popular notes of music from Chennai Express
played on.
An
overwhelmed Zarina Parveen exclaimed, “This day has been like a dream
come true! I adore SRK and I am grateful to LUX for giving me this
chance to meet my idol. I am
delighted and will never forget this unique train ride!”
