Eminent personalities gather at Jury meet of Fempowermen Women Achievers’ Awards to choose the winners, with the

Mumbai, August 21, 2014: Jury meet for Fempowerment Women Achievers’ Awards was held at a five star hotel in the city.

The jury came together to select the winners across 14 Categories.

Based on the nominations received from all across the nation, it was a tough task for the jury to come to a consensus and select

the deserving winners in each category, the discussions also led to increase in categories.

The prominent jury comprised -

1. Mr. Subhash Chandra - Chairman of Zee Entertainment Enterprises Limited and Promoter of the Essel Group of

Companies;

2. Mr. Ridham Desai: Managing Director, Morgan Stanley India;

3. Mr. Adil Malia: President HR, Essar Group of Companies;

4. Mr. Javed Ahmed: DG, (HG , Maharashtra)

5. Mr. Shishir Joshi: CEO, Bombay First

6. Mr. Shrikant Bhasi: Chairman, Carnival Group;

7. Mr. Nagesh Kukunoor: Film Director, Screenwriter and Actor

8. Ms. Aroon Shivdasani: President and Executive Director, Indo-American Arts Council

9. Ms. Neera Saggi: Former President, BCCI (Bombay Chambers of Commerce and Industry)

 The jury members discussed and analyzed the significance of the nominees on various spectrums. With this there were intense

discussions amongst the Jury as all of them had their individual perspective even though there were discussions, the marking

process made it simpler so that each jury could give points based on their credentials, thus the sum leading to winners. Mr.

Nagesh Kukunoor and Ms. Aroon Shivdasani were sent the docket to give points, as they were out of the city. However for the

category Award to a Man by Women which is first ever in India still the discussions are on regarding the winner.

One of the eminent Jury member, Mr. Ridham Desai, MD, Morgan Stanley, said “The jury meet of Fempowerment Women

Achievers’ Awards was an enriching and humbling experience. It was just amazing learning about all the achievers and such

an interesting discussion with other esteemed jury members, I look forward to the Awards Night.”

The property was setup in 2012 by Molecule Communications to honor and provide a platform for women achievers who

have done exceptional work in their respective fields. Held on an annual basis, the property will continue to highlight all these

worthy women and the work done by them and keep bringing more worthy women to the forefront.

The awards will be held on August 28, 2014, at Jamshed Bhabha Theatre, NCPA, Nariman Point, Mumbai 6.30 pm.
