Mexus Education in
association with ‘World GreenMech Contest’ organizes iKen Scientifica
Competition in Taiwan
MUMBAI, August 21, 2013: Recently, Mexus Education Pvt. Ltd in
association with ‘World GreenMech Contest’ conducted the international
round of iKen Scientifica Competition at National Taiwan University (NTU),
Taipei in Taiwan. iKen Scientifica competition conducted by Mexus is a global
competition for classes four to nine designed to promote hands-on learning,
technology and design by introducing children to a wide array of concepts. 480
students from the countries like China, Taiwan, India, Korea, Japan, Hongkong,
Malaysia and Russia took part in this annual competition.
A team of four students, Arunim
Kumar, Chirag Rakesh, Atharva Parag Bet, Tejas Aniruddha Joshi from
Swaminarayan Gurukul, Chala, Vapi represented India in this competition and won
special recognition for their project.
They were selected by Mexus
for their best performance in the Junior High level of the competition held in
India. Junior High level is segregated into three levels: Elementary School,
Junior High and Senior High.

This year, the theme of the
iKen Scientifica’s competition was to depict and to design the ‘Natural
Disasters’ and ‘Damage Control’ out of bricks. In this competition, the Indian
team created a contraption based on Earthquake Disaster Prevention and Power Shortage.
