Mumbai, January 22, 2013: The three-day long, 7th International Exhibition and Conference, India Rubber Expo 2013, buyer- seller meet got started today, at Bombay Exhibition Centre. IRE 2013 with around 550 participating firms from India and around the world taking part at the expo, with an expected turn around of 25,000 visitors from across 42 countries is spread over an exhibition area of 30,000 square meters.

A large number of delegations from US, Central America, Europe and Asia are visiting the IRE and attending the technical conferences. This event will provide great value to the people working in the field of tread rubber manufacturing, retreading and rubber compound mixing.
A highly beneficial feature of IRE-2013 is the introduction of workshops, conducted by the International experts. The workshops will be followed by a panel discussion. The panel consists of distinguished technologists and experts in the field of mixing and retreading technology, tyre and equipment manufacturers, compounding specialists, members from standards organization, tread rubber manufacturing and repair material. The expert speakers will address various aspects of the rubber industry including latest regulations that protect the environment and alternative materials that would ensure achieving this.
The buyer seller meet organized along with CAPEXIL (Chemicals and Allied Products Export Promotion Council) is bringing together well over 30 international importers for a one on one interaction with suppliers from India, thus enhancing the export opportunities for adding additional products to the exports list.
IRE 2013 is supported by the Indian Rubber Board, Automotive Tyre Manufacturers Association and is a certified show by the US Department of Commerce. The expo, therefore provides great opportunity for each and every participant, whether from India or abroad to increase their sales and contacts multi-fold.
CAPEXIL, the export council for the rubber industry is supporting by organising the buyer seller meet by bringing 30 buyers from across the globe - Europe, the US and a few other countries.
With rapid increase on tyre production 28% and tyre export 18% by years; the Indian rubber industry has been growing in strength and importance, as a part of India's burgeoning role in the global economy. India is the world's largest producer and the third largest consumer of natural rubber and India is also one of the fastest growing economies globally.







The Indian Rubber Expo 2013 is a testament to the confidence and relevance of India's largest rubber body the All India Rubber Industries Association (AIRIA), the organiser of the India Rubber Expo.

Speaking on this occasion Mr. Niraj Thakkar, President, AIRIA said, "For the first time, the expo will witness a major participation from Small and Medium Enterprises. This will not only allow them to showcase their products but also provide them with better business opportunities as the show is extended to invite visitors from the rubber product consuming industry".

Mr. Ashok Mittal, Chairman for IRE 2013 positively suggested, "We are very glad to organise this event. The conference is structured to benefit in a practical way all sectors of industry - Large, Medium, Micro and Small and for the first time workshops will be conducted in parallel with the conference. We trust the workshops will be beneficial to answer the queries of the micro and small scale industries".
