Mumbai, August 17, 2026: Tempsens Instruments (India) Limited (the “Company”) has fixed the price band of Rs 285/- to Rs 300/- per Equity Share of face value Rs 4/- each for its proposed initial public offer.
The Initial Public Offering (“IPO” or “Offer”) of the Company will open on Thursday, August 20, 2026, for subscription and close on Monday, August 24, 2026. The Anchor Investor Bid/ Offer Date shall be Wednesday, August 19, 2026.
Investors can bid for a minimum of 50 Equity Shares and in multiples of 50 Equity Shares thereafter.
Equity shares outstanding as on date is 80,666,025 Equity Shares of face value of Rs 4, each
The Offer comprises a fresh issue aggregating up to Rs 950.00 million and an offer-for-sale of up to 18,500,000 equity shares by the Promoter Group Selling Shareholders, Amit Talesara, Puneet Talesara, Chandra Prakash Talesara and the Other Selling Shareholders, Ankit Talesara, and Nirmal Kumar Pande.
The Net Proceeds worth Rs 181.34 million will be utilized for funding certain capital expenditure of the Company towards their electrical heating solutions, and specialized cable solutions, Rs 550.00 million for pre-payment or scheduled re-payment, in full or in part, of certain outstanding borrowings availed by the Company, and general corporate purposes.
The Offer is being made through the book-building process, in compliance with the Securities and Exchange Board of India (Issue of Capital and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, 2018, as amended, wherein not more than 50% of the Net Offer will be available for allocation to qualified institutional buyers (QIBs), not less than 15% to non-institutional bidders (NIBs), and not less than 35% to retail individual bidders (RIBs).
The company is a thermal engineering and specialized cable manufacturer, engaged in the design and manufacture of customized temperature sensing solutions, electrical heating solutions and specialized cables. The company's offerings are tailored to address each customer’s technical requirements. According to the F&S Report, the company is the largest manufacturer of contact and non-contact temperature sensors in India in terms of revenue as of March 31, 2026, with a market share of approximately 10.5% in the temperature sensor segment in Fiscal 2026. The company is also the only Indian manufacturer of non-contact temperature sensors as of March 31, 2026, and held approximately 21.3% of the non-contact temperature sensor market share in Fiscal 2026 (Source: F&S Report).
Furthermore, the company is one of the largest manufacturers of electrical heaters in India in terms of installed capacity as of March 31, 2026, and are also one of the few players with the capability to manufacture low-voltage process heaters, with ongoing R&D on medium-voltage heaters (Source: F&S Report).
The company is also the only manufacturer of fiber optic temperature sensors and thermal profiling systems in India as of March 31, 2026, and the only manufacturer of pyrometers and online thermal imagers in India in Fiscal 2026 (Source: F&S Report).
The company offers a diverse product portfolio structured around three core verticals, temperature sensing solutions, electrical heating solutions and specialized cables. The company's products play a critical role in ensuring the safe, efficient and reliable operation of manufacturing processes across multiple industries.
The company demonstrates its capabilities through a diverse portfolio of project/original equipment manufacturer (Project/OEM) engagements and a steadily recurring maintenance, repair and operations (MRO) replacement business. The Project/OEM segment represents a high-barrier, approval-driven market characterized by stringent qualification requirements, where winning large, competitive orders for instrumentation in greenfield or brownfield setups underscores the company's technical credibility and customer trust (Source: F&S Report).
From April 1, 2023 until March 31, 2026, the company has served more than 1,000 unique customers. For this purpose, unique customers mean new customers served in the previous three fiscals, excluding repeat customers. Also, between April 1, 2023 and March 31, 2026, the company exported its products to more than 80 countries.
Together with its joint ventures, the company operates 15 manufacturing units across the world, of which ten are located in Udaipur.
Its revenue from operations was Rs 444.8 crore in FY26 stood as against Rs 274.8 crore in FY24. Its net profit was Rs 71 in FY26 as against Rs 40.9 crore in FY24.

The equity shares are proposed to be listed on BSE and NSE.
