Dr Batra’s Foundation hosts the 12th annual edition of Magic Moments, a charitable photography exhibition


Dia Mirza extends support to raise funds for Victoria Memorial School for the Blind

Mumbai December 7, 2016: Dr Mukesh Batra, Padma Shri recipient and avid photographer, along with Bollywood star, Dia Mirza, today attended the 12th edition of ‘Magic Moments’, an annual charity exhibition organized under the aegis of Dr Batra’s Foundation, to raise funds for Victoria Memorial School for the Blind. The photography exhibition, held from 1 December to 10 December, 2016 at Piramal Art gallery, NCPA, features notable collections of photographs that showcase the breathtaking, diverse landscapes of Switzerland by Dr. Mukesh Batra.

Speaking on the photography exhibition Dr Mukesh Batra said, “Few people have the privilege to turn a hobby into a meaningful initiative that can touch the lives of people in need. For 12 years, through Magic Moments, Dr Batra’s Foundation has sought to make profound difference to the lives of many orphans, differently-abled children and the elderly. It is our continued commitment to continue our efforts towards making a positive difference to society.”

Speaking on the initiative, Bollywood Diva, Dia Mirza said, “I am thrilled and honored to be a part of the 12th year of the photography exhibition. Dr Batra’s Foundation has relentlessly worked towards creating platforms that not only raise awareness but also substantially aid causes to help communities in need. The annual charitable photography exhibition features a series of 38 photographs depicting the various experiences and journeys. All proceeds of the 10-day photography exhibition will be donated to The Victoria Memorial School for the Blind.
