Lecture will focus on communicating geology and its understanding to the public
The British Council is organizing lecture series in India with eight eminent scientists and science communicators from the UK. These lectures, open and free to public, aim to bring science and related areas closer to society and to strengthen UK-India ties in the higher education sector.
As part of the lecture tours, Prof. Iain Stewart, a renowned Scottish geologist will deliver lectures in Mumbai titled “Faulty Communications: Living with the Earthquake threat” followed by Q&A with students and Faculty from Geology Department at K.J. Somaiya College and Department of Earth Sciences at IIT Bombay
