Over 51,909 people visited MCHI property 2013 exhibition
October 2013, Mumbai: Over
51,909 home aspirants visited the recently held Real
Estate and Housing Finance Exhibition in Mumbai, organized by
Maharashtra Chamber of Housing Industry. A total of
120 builders and developers showcased assorted projects to property seekers and
investors during the four day exhibition held at the MMRDA grounds at BKC
during17 -20 October 2013.
Buoyed by the recovery in the country’s economy, the real
estate sector has witnessed a growing demand for housing properties and the
exhibition played a very important role to guide home seekers in the right
direction. MCHI has been organizing the mega housing exhibitions in order to
offer best of the opportunities to the potential buyers. MCHI’s credentials are
enhanced further with continuous encouraging response from the potential buyers
this year as well.
Commenting on the success of the exhibition, Mr. Vimal
Shah, President MCHI-CREDAI exhibition committee said “With the success of
the exhibition it is now confirmed that there is a huge demand in the property
market, buyers are looking for best available properties with the world-class
amenities and we are the only real estate body who provide them the right
platform and bring them all together under one roof. Such massive response from
the home buyers encourages us and we hope to make the expo bigger in the coming
edition”
The Property Expo displayed a
plethora of options of affordable housing, second homes, and luxury
residences, investment to financial options, as well as commercial and retail
property which have or will be coming up.
Shri Mohammed Arif Naseem Khan, Cabinet ministers for Textiles, Minorities Development
and AUKAF, Govt. of Maharashtra inaugurated the property
expo at the MMRDA grounds BKC in the presence of Guest
of Honour, Shri A. Krishna Kumar, Managing Director, State Bank of India
and key MCHI members.
The expo witnessed prominent visitors such as Suniel
Shetty, Neha Dhupia and Sri Deepak Vasantrao Kesarkar – Member of
Legislative Assembly, Govt of Maharashtra.

Exhibition Committee said, “MCHI’s bi-annual exhibition has truly emerged as India’s most
successful and trusted property exhibition series over the years. This largest
exhibition is a perfect platform to fulfill the dream home aspirations of potential
home buyers specially during the festive season, we hope like the last decade
this year too worked to the home buyers' advantage.”
With the theme ‘Mumbai makes Me Happy’, inspired by the spirit of Mumbai
and its citizens, some of the highlights of this year’s Expo were - special QR
coded badges that enabled buyers and participants to exchange contact details
efficiently; an easy downloadable Mobile Application which was a guide for the
buyers, the application to had relevant details about developers; a unique Art
piece was installed at the exhibition, depicting the ‘Rajiv Gandhi Sea Link’,
made out of construction materials; special Kids Zone for children’s
recreation, state- of- the- art exhibition venue, cafeteria, shuttle bus
services and online registration along with exclusive catalogues for buyers
with detailed information about the Expo and participating organisations.
This exhibition intended to ease the
stressful process of realty searches and to provide a common platform of
interaction for property buyers and developers with wide range of properties
across various budgets, locations along with financial support of on-spot loans
by top banks, NBFC’s, HFC’s & HFIs.
