DAZZLING EDITION OF INDIA INTERNATIONAL JEWELLERY WEEK PRESENTED BY GJEPC IN
MUMBAI HAS SPECTACULAR COLLECTIONS
The
5-day extravaganza from August 4-8 2013 at the Hotel Grand Hyatt Mumbai will
give connoisseurs of jewellery a feast for the eyes
Once again all roads will lead
to Hotel Grand Hyatt, Mumbai when the India International Jewellery Week (IIJW)
will dazzle lovers of exquisite jewellery from August 4-8 2013. Presented by
GJEPC the 4th edition of IIJW Mumbai follows the spectacular and
very successful edition which was held in April 2013 in New Delhi. There will
be an unbelievable display of precious jewellery at IIJW never before seen on
the catwalks of Mumbai.
Making a glamorous appearance
at the IIJW will be GJEPC Brand ambassador and Bollywood’s style icon, Sonam
Kapoor, along with esteemed members of GJEPC and high ranking government
officials. This scintillating event is presented by the title sponsor, Gemological
Institute of America (GIA) this year, in association with P C Jeweller sponsors
of the Grand Finale “Best of Best” show on 8th August.
30 top designers and jewellery
brands will thrill the audience with their breath-taking collections in gold,
diamonds and precious gems. Each day 7-8 shows will highlight the latest
fashion trends in jewellery. IIJW has been instrumental in encouraging and
bringing into the limelight top designers who have shown their brilliant
collections on this unique platform.
Bringing on to the ramp the
glitter and glitz of precious metal and shimmering stones will be brands like
Gitanjali, Agni Jewels, Auro Gold, Jewel Trendz, Saboo, Golecha Jewels, Gehna,
Apala, Seth International, Shobha Shringar, Shringar, D Navinchandra, Kashi
Jewellers, Charu Jewels, Laxmi Jewellery Exports, Kays Jewels and Birdhichand
Ghanshyamdas.
Ace designers Nirav Modi, Moni
Agrawal, Pallavi Foley, and Dipti Amisha, will reveal their ultra-glamorous
line of ornaments, which will turn into timeless offerings. Imposing Raani
Haars, splendid chokers, tantalising shoulder dusters, delicate ornate rings,
chunky kadas and bangles and sensuous cummerbunds, will reveal the immense
creative genius of Indian designers.
GIA the title sponsors have
trained and led the research of gemolgy for 82 years and given top of the line
training and expertise to students. The credentials of GIA are honoured
globally and graduates of GIA have acquired prime positions in top companies.
P C Jeweller the associate
sponsor has consistently been a part of IIJW since 2010. The collection
presented by P C Jeweller on the final day of IIJW 2013, will have a mind
boggling array of jewellery designs which will defy imagination.
Besides the collections of top
designers and brands, the 4th edition of IIJW, Mumbai will have 20
talented graduates from GIA, IGI, IIGJ and NID who will unveil their superb lines
and create magic on the ramp.
The scintillating shows will be
choreographed by India’s leading names, while the model line-up will be the
best in the business as leading stars of the catwalk will sashay under the arc
lights.
IIJW has displayed to the world,
the beauty of Indian designer jewellery and brands, created a wonderful
opportunity and introduced international buyers to the amazing concepts of
Indian talents that are backed by centuries of heritage and craft. Today the global jewellery industry looks at
