MR. PRAFUL PATEL RELEASES PICTORIAL BIOGRAPHY ‘UDAAN’

Mumbai, 14th May 2017: Mr. Praful Patel, Hono’ble Member of Parliament (Rajya Sabha) and Ex Civil Aviation Minister launched his Pictorial Biography today in the presence of his peers and well-wishers. The pictorial biography is a graphic glimpse of his journey from his early days to the achievements in his career spanning decades. The event was graced by eminent dignitaries from various spheres honoring Mr. Patel’s triumphs.
Legendary actor Shri Amitabh Bachchan along with the Chief Guest of the evening , Honorable Chief Minister of Maharashtra, Shri Devendra Fadnavis, Shiv Sena Party President Shri. Uddhav Thackeray, MD & Chairman of Reliance Industries Shri. Mukesh Ambani and Smt. Varsha Patel unveiled Udaan-A graphic glimpse through the life of Praful Patel.
The book launch was hosted by Leading Bollywood personality Karan Johar who welcomed the guests by introducing the book and its initial launch by The President of India Shri Pranab Mukherjee at Rashtrapati Bhavan. The evening continued with the former Civil Aviation Minister Praful Patel sharing his sentiments on his biography and a few words were also shared by Shri Mukesh Ambani, Shri Udhav Thackeray, Shri Amitabh Bachchan and Shri Devendra Fadnavis speaking about their bond and their everlasting relationship with Mr. Patel.
Karan Johar who is always known for his spontaneity and his charismatic presence interacted with some eminent personalities from the audience like the charming Nita Ambani, banker Uday Kotak, Business tycoon Rahul Bajaj, legendary lyricist Javed Akhtar and Shri Prithviraj Chavan.  The launch concluded by the family members, Ms. Niyati Patel & Mr.Prajay Patel coming onto the stage followed by a vote of thanks. The evening was truly a tribute to the life’s work of Mr Praful Patel and his legacy.
