The third edition of IFAT India, India’s leading environmental technology trade fair will take place between October 13 and 15, 2015 at the Bombay Exhibition Center, Mumbai.  IFAT India is a leading trade fair that features water treatment systems and services, water extraction, water desalination, sewage treatment services, sewers, water disposal solutions and services, water recycling techniques, sewage recycling techniques, air pollution control systems, energy from waste materials, environmental services and management, control and laboratory technologies and other related services and solutions. The event is the largest of its kinds in India and presents innovative water treatment solutions and allied technologies.

IFAT India 2015 will take the expo experience to another level, making the experience ‘real’ for the visitor. In addition to the stalls that would display technology related to water, the Trade Expo will showcase live demonstrations making the overall experience surreal and a definite first in the Water trade. These live demonstrations will help the exhibitors to bring about an added dimension to their presentation and help them garner wider eyeballs, showcasing product features, advantages and its practical application. Also, from an operational perspective, questions around the functioning of the technology will be fielded and answered.  For this purpose additional space is being made available outdoors, next to exhibition hall 5 at the Bombay Exhibition Center (BEC) in Mumbai. This particular feature by itself would catapult the Indian edition of IFAT, to be reckoned among the leading global expos in this sector.

The previous edition of IFAT India concluded successfully, underlining itself as the leading platform for environmental technology in India. The event had a total of 123 companies that presented products and services in the fields of water, sewage, refuse and recycling to 4,782 trade visitors. The exhibition took up approximately 5,000 square meters of space. The event offered its trade visitors an extensive technical and scientific supporting program. The exhibitors were particularly pleased with the professional level and interest among the trade visitors. Overall, the participants confirmed the importance of IFAT India for the promising Indian market and noted an increased readiness to invest in international environmental technology on the part of the new Indian government.
