SOS Children Village’s Rakesh Jinsi joins School of Inspired Leadership

                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                        



Gurgaon, Feb 18, 2015 – The School of Inspired Leadership (SOIL), Gurgaon announced the appointment of industry veteran Mr. Rakesh Jinsi as the President of the school. Mr. Jinsi, who was last associated with SOS Children’s Villages of India, has over 37 years of corporate experience with a significant amount of time spent in the Not for Profit Sector. His appointment marks another important step by SOIL to recruit industry veterans that conform to the school’s ideals of ‘Character, Competence and Enthusiasm’; bridge the gap between industry and academia as well as promote an education model that hinges on the ‘right’ attitude along with aptitude.
Announcing his appointment, Mr. Anil Sachdev, Founder & CEO, SOIL, said, “We are delighted and privileged to have Rakesh Jinsi as the newest addition to the SOIL family. He comes with a wealth of experience and will be able to add immense value from his involvement in the not-for-profit sector as well as someone who has created and led successful teams in diverse industries. Mr. Jinsi’s experience lies in engineering-Automobile industry and the Non-profit sector. Over a long and celebrated career, he has worked with leading organizations such as Eicher Group, Hero Motors, Force Motors, Tatra Vectra Motors India, and New Holland FIAT India among others. He was a member of National Human Rights Commission and is the member of Proposal Approval Committee of National Skill Development Corporation (NSDC). He also serves on the Board of organizations such as FAG Bearings India Ltd, Hero Motors Ltd etc.
Speaking on his appointment, Mr. Rakesh Jinsi, President, SOIL, said, “I am happy to be part of the SOIL family. I really believe that there is an urgent need to restore balance in the higher education space as we seem to be over-emphasizing commercial success. I hope to contribute to the positive energy that the school drives.
