All India LIC Games 

Shri R. Doraiswamy, Chief Executive Officer & Managing Director, Life 

Insurance Corporation of India (LIC), inaugurated the All India LIC Games 

2026–27 at Sree Kanteerava Stadium, Bengaluru, today. 

The All India LIC Games is an annual sports event of the Life Insurance 

Corporation of India and are being conducted over a period of four days. The 

games comprise six disciplines, namely Carrom, Chess, Table Tennis, 

Badminton, Volleyball and Athletics. 

The inaugural ceremony was attended by Smt S. Girija, Executive Director 

(HRD & Training); Shri. Pradeep P. Shenoy, Executive Director (Corporate 

Communication); Smt Lata Madampath, Executive Director (Personnel); Shri 

Saravana Ramesh S., Zonal Manager, South Central Zone; and Shri R. K. 

Yadav, Senior Divisional Manager, Bengaluru Division–1. 

Addressing the participating sportspersons, Shri R. Doraiswamy, Chief 

Executive Officer & Managing Director, Life Insurance Corporation of India 

stated that sports go beyond competition and contribute significantly to 

character-building. He called upon the participants to approach the games 

with enthusiasm and in the spirit of fair play, while striving to give their best. The inaugural ceremony commenced with a march-past by the participating 

sportspersons. This was followed by the hoisting of the corporate flag by Shri 

R. Doraiswamy, Chief Executive Officer & Managing Director, Life Insurance 

Corporation of India, who thereafter formally declared the commencement of 

the All India LIC Games 2026–27. 

Approximately 376 sportspersons representing eight Zones of the 

Corporation are participating in the games. 

The All India LIC Games 2026–27 will conclude on 8th October 2026. The 

closing ceremony will be held in the presence of Shri R. Chander, Managing 

Director, Life Insurance Corporation of India, as the Chief Guest.
