Mumbai, January 22: It was an exceptional evening for members of Live 360@60, the senior citizens club of Nanavati Super Specialty Hospital (NSSH) as instead of the regular expert-helmed sessions on medical problems, they regaled in an evening of entertainment soiree filled with songs, fun and friendly banter.
The evening started with rendition of old Hindi popular film songs which created a nostalgic fervour in the environment. Sounds of claps, whistles and once-mores filled the air as audience members relived their younger days. The entertainment quotient got higher every time Ms. Radhika Hathi, Mr. Kishore Bhatt and other talented senior citizen club singers belted one after another popular Hindi hits. The whole evening lent credence to the fact that age cannot be a detriment in seeking enjoyment and having fun to one’s hearts content.
Mr. Nalin Shah, noted film historian also added a positive vibe to the nostalgia as he took the audience on a journey down memory lane, filled with intricate details of amazing film facts. The Mumbai launch of ‘Melodies, Movies and Memories’, a book written by Mr. Shah detailing the important events in the Hindi film industry, was the highlight of the evening. The book has already been launched in Ahmedabad and has received an encouraging response.
