Sinhal Classes Mega Quiz ‘SciMath’ concluded
MUMBAI:
SciMath, a Sinhal Classes CSR initiative
in association with Times NIE recently completed its third stage of an All
Mumbai Level Interschool Science and Math Aptitude Quiz for class 7th to 10th SSC
students. Conducted in three stages – School Round,
Regional Round and City Round, each stage winners was
felicitated with prizes & scholarships upto Rs 50,000, Rs 1 lakh and Rs 2.5 lakh respectively.
Through
this initiative, SciMath Quiz has become Mumbai’s biggest ever event
exclusively conducted for the SSC Board students. A total of 45,000 plus students participated in this spectacular
event in just one month after it was launched.
SciMath
Quiz is Sinhal Classes’ first step towards nurturing the young minds of SSC
Board Students in Mumbai. “We at Sinhal are strongly motivated
to develop the inquisitiveness and curiosity of the child into a vision. It's a
small attempt from our part to develop future leaders, scientists and
visionaries, the basic foundation of which lies in the clarity of thought,”
says Mr. Sudhanshu Sinhal, Managing
Director, Sinhal Classes, “At Sinhal Classes our approach has always been
to clear the concepts of the students first and then build their knowledge.
This philosophy of laying importance on concepts and fundamentals has helped
our students in all future exams,” he adds.
No
other educational institute in Mumbai has ever conducted a mega quiz event like
SciMath before. Moreover, SciMath Quiz was also extremely difficult, thus only
35 per cent participants scored in SciMath an ‘excellent’ and hardly any
student could score more than 75 per cent overall in SciMath.
The
scholarships and prizes was distributed at a glittering ceremony
which was organized at Sinhal Classes Head Office.
The
students was felicitated by the Top Management of Sinhal Classes.
