Mumbai, March 07, 2014:  Reliance Communications Limited, India’s fully integrated telecommunications service provider, today announced their association as ‘Global Partner’ for the 5th edition of ICC World Twenty20 tournament to be held in Bangladesh. Reliance Communications has always been associated as a ‘Global Partner’ for ICC events since the first ICC World Twenty20 in 2007.
Reliance Communications also announced a series of service offerings for its customers for the forthcoming ICC World T20 Bangladesh 2014 as a part of the partnership for the 5th edition of the tournament that is scheduled to begin in March 16 – April 6, 2014.). Cricket fans will get exclusive glimpse of the trophy and an opportunity to click photographs with it. They can also send best wishes to the team and participate in varied contests specially designed for this event and win exciting prizes.

This event in Mumbai was a part of exclusive preview road shows across India before the tournament kicks off in Bangladesh. The ICC World T20 Bangladesh 2014 Trophy will be handed over to the winning team of this tournament which is currently in its 5th edition.
About the Trophy & Logo
The coveted trophy is designed and created by Links of London and is made of Silver & Rhodium and weighing approximately 7.5 Kgs.
The Logo for the ICC World Twenty20 is inspired by the unique painted rickshaws (tuk-tuks) which pack the streets of Bangladesh cities. The logo uses the colors of Bangladesh flag with splashes of blue which represents Bangladesh’s iconic waterways. The T is made up of cricket stumps and the 0 in the T20 represents the cricket ball complete with Bangladeshi green seam, while the white in the design lends and energetic, friendly and youthful feel to the logo. The Logo is designed by Whitekite in Australia.
