China Homelife Global Exhibition Series launched in India
As trade volumes between the Asian Dragons and India surge

Mumbai, 20, November, 2013: China Homelife is a global series of B2B exhibitions held in Dubai, Brazil, Turkey, Jordan, Egypt and Poland. First edition of the event in India was launched today in Mumbai at the Bombay Exhibition Centre. The expo was inaugurated by Dr. Liu Youfa, Consul-General of the People’s Republic of China along with Manan Doshi, President, Bombay Industries Association and other high profile dignitaries from the Chinese government. The expo will continue till 22nd November and over 500 exhibitors are showcasing over 20,000 quality products manufactured in China at the most competitive prices.
Dr. Liu Youfa, Consul-General of the People’s Republic of China in his address said, “In the past two to three decades, China has grown exponentially to become asia’s largest manufacturing hub. While at the plane, India has also proven to be yet another powerhouse in the Asia Pacific region. Trade relations between these two Asian giants go way back and will continue to strengthen as both need each other in order to grow together in a holistic manner.”

India's growth is more or less driven by demand that is domestic and most of this is easily met by her own resources. However, in a number of areas, India seeks help from other countries, especially in the manufacturing arena and this is where China can play a key role. In his recent state visit to China, India's Prime Minister Manmohan Singh highlighted eight areas where there are growth opportunities for both India and China. Needless to say, manufacturing forms a large part of this cooperation. The other areas include: modernizing and expanding India's infrastructure. India plans to invest one trillion U.S. dollars in infrastructure in the next five years and China’s expertise and investment in this sector will be continuously sought after and we will be more than willing to extend this cooperation.”
Mr. Manan Doshi, President, Bombay Industries Association, said, “India has been seeking China's help in increasing her agricultural productivity and efficiently managing the process of mass urbanization. For a State like Maharashtra, China's knowledge in areas like water and waste management, along with its experienced urban planners and administrators will provide a necessary impetus to the growth of Maharashtra and the entire nation. On Behalf of Maharashtra Government, I invite Chinese companies to intensifying cooperation and look at the state as destination that will give impetus to plans recommended our honorable prime minister.”
A unique feature of the show is the screening process which ensures the quality of the products offered by the exhibitors. The exhibition has dedicated focus on eight product segments, including furniture, home appliance, textile and garments, kitchen and bathroom, lighting and lamp, home electronics, mother and baby products along with gift items and also concurrently China Auto Parts Fair and China Industry Fair also being organized in the same venue.
