FITOCRATIC HOSTS #GetFitWithTheFabulous3

A PANEL DISCUSSION ON FITNESS AND NUTRITION

WITH YASMIN KARACHIWALA, RASHI CHOWDHARY & ROWEENA BHATIA

Mumbai March 12, 2016: Fitocratic celebrates this month dedicated to women with a special panel discussion titled "GetFitWithTheFabulousThree" with Yasmin Karachiwala, Roweena Bhatia and Rashi Chowdhary at their Kemps Corner Studio - BodyImage for Fitocratic. The discussion was aimed at guiding women on how to shape their bodies by learning more about their posture and how eating the right things will help them change the way they look.

The special guest for the panel discussion was Sophie Choudry. She along with ‘The Fabulous 3’ interacted with guests sharing tips on fitness and nutrition.

Yasmin Karachiwala, Director, Body Image, is one of India’s most respected fitness professional in Pilates.  She has committed her professional life to promoting health, fitness and overall quality of life.

Yasmin says, "Fitness is something that I am deeply passionate about. It’s a state of mental and physical wellbeing. The secret to a healthy life is consistent combination of healthy eating and exercise, that's suited to your body type and lifestyle.”

Roweena Bhatia’s passion for delicious food and health, inspired her to start Fatfree Almost. Fatfree Almost, not only offers healthy food but also cookbooks, food combination ideas and meal plan menus. She also now creates cool funky personalized kitchen merchandise.

Roweena advises, “Healthy and smart eating not only keeps you fit, but also boosts your will power and adds positivity in your life.” She adds, “When people say diet food, it usually sounds like a prison sentence. My goal is to provide food that is healthy but still delicious.”

Nutritionist, Rashi Chowdhary, like most of us, hates weighing scales, diet plans and food with preservatives. She firmly believes that while diet plans have evolved over the years the crux remains the same- that a quick fix is never a good fix.

Said Rashi, “You can never truly be healthy without good, nutritious food. A healthier lifestyle inspires you to get fitter, healthier, and discover your inner brilliance. India's come a long way in terms of better eating habits, but there are so many myths still out there that need to be busted.”

The fun event was anchored by VJ Ramona, and had the three women and Sophie answering audience questions, sharing recipes, workout tips and more.

A goodie bag with CocoFly Coconut Milk, Almond Milk and Twinings Tea was extra delightful for guests!

The event was conceptualised by Tanaaz Bhatia of Bottomline Media
