Energy conversation for both residential & commercial spaces is an ongoing issue that needs to addressed for sustaining our natural resources. Management of energy requirement through Building management services (BMS), development of Warehousing & cold storage development offers great scope of employment.
Speaking to the media, National President, ISHRAE Mr. K Ramachandran stated, “ISHRAE has been promoting the need for benchmarking of energy consumption & manufacturing standards. Developing the domestic manufacturing set up is crucial for maintaining good quality practices & creating employment. The Current Government’s impetus on promoting low-cost manufacturing through the Make in India initiative offers great potential for the domestic & global HVAC&R industry”. India’s increased consumer spending in the middle income group offers attractive opportunities for development of product innovation & the related technologies to sustain the energy requirement. ACREX INDIA 2016 is a great platform for both domestic & global players to showcase their offerings & offers a great opportunity for networking & sourcing with manufacturers to create a robust domestic HVAC- R Sector”
Various workshops will be organized during the duration of ACREX INDIA 2016 to address issues relating to industries like dairy, horticulture, food & vegetables.
Key workshops and discussion schedule to take place over three days include:
  • Air distribution & heat load
  • Tall, Super tall and Mega tall building systems design
  • Design of Cold storage as a part of cold storage
  • Reducing building energy conducted by Rehva, the European Associations for Heating Ventilating and Air conditioning
  • An Architect and Developer Interaction –a panel Discussion towards convergence
  • Fire & Safety inside Glass Facades, conducted by FSAI, Fire safety Association

Domestic manufacturing is the key driver for employability and will play a crucial role in skill development. Benchmarking of quality standards will be promoted comprehensively during ACREX INDIA 2016.
