Bangalore, India (February 16, 2015): This Valentine’s Day Acer challenged people to show how unreasonable their love can be. In line with its larger brand campaign ‘Being Unreasonable’, Acer announced a flurry of initiatives to appeal to the young at heart who expect nothing but the best for their valentines.
Acer announced a consumer engagement programme based on a single proposition - ‘How unreasonable one can get?’The ten day brand activation encouraged Acer fans to share their ‘most unreasonable proposal’ for their Valentine and one lucky winner would get a once in a lifetime opportunity of being able to have their proposal published in front of the entire nation. The winner has been judged and announced today through advertisements in major national newspapers and on social media platforms such as the official Acer Facebook page and twitter handle using #UnreasonableProposal.
Suman Kamath from Mumbai won the challenge by her unreasonable proposal - “Are you a magician? Because you make everyone else disappear when I am looking at you. And when I look into your eyes, it is like a gateway into the world of which I want to be a part.”
Addressing Acer fans, S Rajendran, Chief Marketing Officer, Acer India said, “Much like the real world where we go out of our way to meet the ‘unreasonable’ expectations of our loved ones, Acer believes in meeting ‘unreasonable’ consumer expectations through its products. Every single day we aspire to do something that impresses our consumers and now we challenge them to impress their valentines by sharing their most unreasonable proposals. This is also our day to send a message of gratitude to our consumers who have loved us and supported us all along.”
