GLORIOUS TRIBUTE EKACH SONGADYA TO DADA KONDKE BY PEOPLE'S ARTS CENTRE
The yeoman contribution by the evergreen funster Dada Kondke
to Dada Kondke was valuable. Dada Kondke, who had a multi faceted personality,
received unlimited love and regards from millions of his fans all over India,
especially in Maharashtra, who he endeared with his comedy films in not only
Hindi but also Marathi. To pay a rich tribute to the multi talented actor cum
film maker, People’s Arts Centre in association with Vans Music Group,
Thane have decided to hold a grand function titled Ekach Songadya at the
Shanmukhananda Sabha on Saturday
March 23, 2014 at 7 pm
The concept of the show has been visualized by Nilesh Futane
and Prakash Shinde while Megha Sampat has been entrusted with the task of
choreographing the dance numbers. On the occasion, several celebrities who were
associated with Dada will be felicitated in a grand manner. Among them will be Vijay
Kondke, President of the Akhil Bharatiya Chitrapat Mandal, Ashok Saraf, Ramdas
Phutane, Sudhir Dalvi, Viju Khote, Raghavendra Ghadkol, Usha Chavan, Usha
Naik,Usha Mangeshkar, Birbal, Manmaujee, Shakti Kapoor, Anupama Deshpande,
Uttara Kelkar, Asha Bhosle, Jaishree T, Madhu Kambikar, Mohan kulkarni, Rajni
Chavan, Shanta Tambe, Yashwant Balkar, Balchandra Kulkarni, Bal Mohite,
Hrishikesh Paranjpye, Aruna Irani, Rahul Solapurkar, Uday Sinh Marathe, Kamal
Patil, Vilas Ratte, Shyam Kamble etc among others.
A book written by Shyam Petkar based on the films of Dada
Kondke will also be released on the occasion. The hit songs of Dada Kondke’s
films will be presented on the stage by the Sa Re Ga Ma Pa winner Urmila
Dhangar and the musical troupe One’ s Music. The evening’s function where
different people who were associated with Dada will eulogize about Dada’s
contribution to Marathi as well as Hindi Cinema and sincerity towards his work,
will be compared by Pushkar Shrotri and Paresh Dabolkar
People’s Art Centre, Mumbai is an organization that has been
in the forefront, as far as organizing various welfare oriented as well social
and cultural events in Mumbai in order to create social awareness and spread
good will as well as camaraderie. The entry to the function is free but one has
to register his or her name in the entry form which will be available at the
Shanmukhananda Hall from March 18
onwards between 10
am and 6 pm every day.
