President Pranab Mukherjee recieved coffee table book of 20 years of Global music by Dr.L Subramaniam & Kavita Krishnamurti


"5 continents - 22 countries - 55 cities - Have you experienced it yet?" - the Lakshminarayana Global Music festival has become a cultural landmark in India, and across the world.

President Pranab Mukherjee recently received a copy of a coffee table book chronicling 20 years of the Lakshminarayana Global Music Festival, from the festival's Founder/Director violin virutoso Dr. L. Subramaniam and the festival's Artistic Director vocal diva Kavita Krishnamurti Subramaniam.  

The book, Lakshminarayana Global Music Festival: 20 Years of Global Collaboration, written by Dr. L. Subramaniam and Dr. Narayana Subramaniam features photographs, interviews, articles, anecdotes and information on over 300 artists who have participated in the LGMF.  
The Lakshminarayana Global Music Festival was started by Dr. L. Subramaniam and Viji Subramaniam in 1992 as a tribute the the memory of the former's father and guru Professor V. Lakshminarayana. Since then, concerts of the festival have been held across the world, and for audiences of over 200,000 people at a single event.
