We are pleased to share that Johnson received the status of Super Brand for it’s Smart Category of Tiles. Johnson Tile’s journey started in England UK in the year 1901 and making in India was set up in 1958. Today we have completed our 62 years of leadership in India and thank our customers, dealers and Architects for their patronage and the trust that they have for Johnson. We reiterate our commitment to provide innovative and best in class products in future too”
On being asked “What is meant by ‘smart tiles’”? Mr Vyas said “While durability and aesthetics are the common expectations and all manufacturers claim to have it, SMART TILES comes with additional benefits and advantages. Our strong R&D and patented technology made us the winning brand as we have multiple smart tiles. For example our Germ-Free (Anti-Microbial) and Stain-Free tiles address the health and cleanliness element. We have patented tile product – Anti Static tiles which address Electrostatic Discharge Hazards. Endura Cool Roof tiles is another success story in India as it keeps the rooms below the roof much cooler in peak summer period which brings high discomfort in large part of India. Another such product is ready to use robust vitrified stair case tiles with safety features. The list is long and year 2020 will bring few more innovative and smart products including ‘Positive (+ve)  Tiles’ which release negative ions in the surrounding and bring the same freshness as we get near a water fall”.

However, for both customers and especially for Architects in the western suburbs, it means inconvenience in frequent visits for multiple projects. This new experience center not only reduces the driving distance but also an option for customers to take a metro as the building is adjacent to Chakala Metro station”

Addressing the media, Mr. Vyas also said “In some cases I come across a question – ‘Does Johnson have only very high end tiles which are costly?”
This perception is not correct, however”, he added “Even our smart tiles which are far superior to any other competitive products, are available at very little premium and aware customers don’t mind to consider a small premium for better tiles which are going to last them for decades. This confusion may arise due to wrong comparisons. In fact, we have good tiles to match all budgets. So people can walk in to this experience center and make smart choices now. Our initiative to open modern age Experience Centres across the country will help the consumers and specifiers to make informed choices”.
