Mumbai, India, April 28, 2015 – Anglo Schools International Services (ASIS) has entered into a partnership with global computer-based test (CBT) leader Pearson VUE to expand British boarding school scholarships for Indian pupils with a set of entrance exams.
The three Anglo Schools Entry Exams – for pupils aged 11 plus, 13 plus and 16 plus – will be on offer to help leading UK schools working with ASIS to award scholarships to selected candidates.
Bob Whelan, managing director of Pearson VUE, said: “These tests, delivered at our network of test centres across India, will provide schoolchildren with even greater opportunities to win a scholarship at a prestigious British boarding school.”
Abhishek Pandey, business manager, India at ASIS, said: “We want the best Indian candidates to be awarded scholarships, so we require a test with the best international standards to set high expectations of the candidates from their first experience.
