Homeopathic preventive medicines will be given for free across Dr Batra’s 184 clinics
Mumbai, 27th Feb, 2015: Furthering its commitment to health and welfare in the country, the world’s largest homeopathic healthcare corporate, Dr Batra’s®, will be offering free preventive dosage for H1N1 (swine flu) across all its 184 clinics in India.
In face of the increasing number of cases, the preventive homeopathic dosage will be available for FREE to walk-in patients at Dr Batra’s® 184 clinics across 97 cities from 12-5pm between 02 March 2015 and 14 March 2015 from Monday - Friday. Since its outbreak, the total number of deaths due to swine flu has already crossed 800 and over 14,000 people have been affected with the H1N1 virus across India.
Speaking on the need for preventive medicine for Swine Flu, Dr Mukesh Batra, Founder and Chairman, Dr Batra’s® said, “Swine Flu cases have been on the rise in the last few weeks. The situation has only deteriorated with panic spreading across the country. However, it must be noted that Swine Flu is not a dangerous, deadly disease; at the same time it needs to be given immediate and urgent medical attention. Being the leaders in homeopathy, we believe it is our responsibility and duty to extend all possible support to our fellow countrymen in this crucial time. Our clinics across the country are fully equipped and now, ready to offer the free preventive dosage for swine flu to all walk-in patients and supplement all efforts being made by a cross section of stakeholders including the central and state governments and the medical fraternity at large.”
The Central Council for Research in Homoeopathy (CCRH), under AYUSH, has recommended the homoeopathic remedy, Arsenicum Album 30C, one dose (4 pills of size 30, for adults, and 2 pills for children) daily, on empty stomach, for 3 days, as being a useful homeopathic preventive medicine. The dose, as the homeopathic expert panel suggests, if required it should be repeated after one month, by following the same schedule, in the event flu-like conditions prevailed in the area.
In May 2003 when Japanese encephalitis hit Andhra Pradesh, the government distributed one million doses of Belladonna, a homeopathic drug, to children. "No child was affected by Japanese encephalitis after that.
In the infamous Spanish flu of 1918, to cull a distinctive example, which is also evidenced to being a form of swine flu, over 100 million deaths were reported. In a significant article published in The Journal of the American Institute of Homeopathy, it was documented ‘that of the 26,795 cases of the flu treated by homeopathic physicians, the mortality rate was just 1.05 per cent, while the average reported loss of life by conventional (allopathic) physicians was 30 per cent.’

  1. When allowing for senior citizen health insurance or any such policy it is important to look for this point, and then make the final decision. However, policy helps you to determine only a single feature of various insurance plans. It is compulsory to go for a holistic vision and consider varied aspects of right selection.
