Iskcon Food Relief Foundation to enter into Uttar Pradesh market with Jindal Pipes

Uttar Pradesh, November 2014: Iskcon Food Relief foundation, World's Largest Vegetarian Mass Meal Programme, is now expanding with a new central kitchen in Uttar Pradesh in a bid to serve the children at government schools. The industry pioneers and leaders M/S Jindal Pipes and Drillinghave extended a helping hand for the joint venture of this noble project. M/S Jindal Pipes is facilitating about 1.5- 2 acres of land dedicated for this project along with a furnished set-up of an ultra modern kitchen.

The ultra modern kitchen is being will be operational from Jindal Nagar on Ghaziabad - Hapur road. The central kitchen shall have the latest technologically advanced equipments for the food preparation. With the unwavering support and zealous efforts of M/S Jindal Pipes, the nourished food will be served to 20- 25,000 students in the first phase, which will be increased several folds soon after.

The Iskcon Food Relief Foundation is an ISO 9001: 2000 certified programme which has made its mark with their immaculate mid day meal programme. With the latest addition of Jindal Pipes to the list, they have previously partnered with myriad known names such as Tata Steel, SAIL, GAIL, MMTC, REC, PEC, IOCL, Emaar MGF, and many others who have provided unflinching support for the social cause of serving the society.

Mr. Sanjay Tikku, Director of IFRF comments  "We believe that food and education are two of the most important factors responsible for human sustenance in our society. With over 12 Lakh meals, 8 states and 20 centers in India, IFRf is anticipating to expand in more states. One of the major reasons of starting this programme was to give children a better future, decrease the rising number of malnutrition cases and social empowerment.

Annamrita was incepted with the motto of creating a hunger-free world, they started off by serving nearly 500 children, which today has reached a staggering number of 12 lakh.
