SHAADMAAN KHANKHEL TO MAKE HIS BOW WITH '' ARSALAN THE LION'' 

Yet another Khan is now all set to make his debut in films with '' Arslaan The Lion'', produced by debutante Zuklekha Khan and directed by Amar M. Bhattacharya. He is Shaadmaan Khankhel, who had earlier assisted Shakur in the film Chakradhar and Rajkumar Santoshi in the film Ajab Prem Ki Gazab Tamasha. Besides Shaadmaan, the film also stars Sukhada, who was earlier seen in Sunil Khosla’s Mokssh, Kiran Kumar, Deepak Shirke, Razzak Khan, Ramesh Goel and Devendra Pandit in key roles. “My film is a contemporary political satire which drives home the poignant message that it is a major crime today to speak the truth in the nation of Gandhiji,” says producer Amar Bhattacharya who had earlier directed films like Dhaar and Death Trap. Amar says that he had shot his film in 18 days. Produced under the banner of Power Pop Pictures, '' Arslaan The Lion '' recently bagged an award at the Dadasaheb Phalke awards function in Mumbai at the hands of the veteran filmmaker Sawan Kumar Tak.
