PNC Infratech bags Rs. 441 Crore contract   

26 June 2014:  PNC Infratech Limited has been awarded the contract for Ministry of Road Transport & Highways, Government of India sponsored project of Rehabilitation & Upgradation of the 80 Km long road stretch of Sonauli - Gorakhapur Section of National Highway 29 E in Uttar Pradesh on EPC Basis by UP PWD. The estimated cost of the project is Rs. 441 Crore and it is slated to be completed in two years.

Mr. Yogesh Jain, MD, PNC Infratech Ltd said, “this is a strategically important National Highway Development Project, as it connects the Indo-Nepal border at Sonauli with Gorakhpur. Given the location and terrain, this is a logistically and topographically challenging project and we would endeavour to complete the project within the stipulated time maintaining high quality standards.” 

With this project, the current EPC order book of PNC Infratech stands in excess of
Rs. 3000 crores.
