Korea Tourism Organization appoints
Byugnsun Lee as India Director
Mumbai, June 12, 2014: Korea Tourism Organization appointed Mr. Byugnsun Lee as Director for Korea Tourism Organization (KTO) India effective from May 2014. In
his new role he will be responsible for promoting Korea as tourist and
MICE destination and he will also be charge of building and maintaining
relationships with travel trade in India and Korea.
Mr.
Lee’s passion to learn new things and gain extensive experience in a
range of fields has led him to pursue courses in Public policy,
Geography and Environmental Policy. He has 23 years of experience in the
tourism industry working with KTO in Moscow, KTO’s Overseas Marketing
Department, Busan Promotion Office, Busan Convention Bureau and Busan
Tourism Promotion Committee.
His
overall experience in Marketing Strategies, Media Campaign and Green
Tourism will be a driving force to promote ''Korea as Tourist and MICE
Destinations'' in Indian Market.
“I
see tremendous potential in Indian travel and tourism market for Korea.
My focus is to promote Korea as a diversified destination to key target
audiences here in India. I aim to leverage these in order to
significantly increase visitor footfalls to Korea.”
